Senior Camera Operator/Event Technician

Evan Carr is a newcomer to Creative Video of Washington, joining the staff in August of 2011. He serves as Creative Video’s Senior Camera Operator and Event Technician. Evan has traveled the United States as a photojournalist, working for local and national news organizations. Carr brings his camera skills, story-telling abilities, and eye for detail to the Creative Video team.  His experiences in the live news environment translate well to the live event industry.

Evan graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2007 with a BS in Mass Media and Journalism. While attending Clarion, Carr held a variety of positions for the local television station, WCUB-TV.  During his time with the station, he was a part of hundreds of different live events around the Clarion community.

After graduation, he began work with WJAC-TV,WVNY-TV, and WBBH as a photojournalist, providing live shots and award winning photojournalism for the millions up and down the east coast. Evan was also the recipient of the 2010 AP awards for best spot news coverage.
