Matt Eidemiller
Director & Engineer
Matt Eidemiller began his television career in 2002 when he attended Clarion University in Northern Pennsylvania, where he began working at the local television station WCUB-TV during his freshman year. His first job was as a VTR operator for WCUB-TV’s nightly newscasts. By his sophomore year, Eidemiller had worked his way up to Director of Remote Productions. During the next three years, Eidemiller would lead what was in 2002 an under equipped and under funded department from one monthly broadcast, to the broadcast of every home football and basketball game during his three year tenure. During this time, Eidemiller directed over 100 different sporting events, and made several on-air appearances, including a stint on a weekly sports highlight show entitled “Off the Bench”. In addition to directing and on-air appearances, Eidemiller honed his craft, producing two separate weekly shows, “On the Clock”, and “Our House”, the latter of which was a reality show chronicling the life and times of his three college roommates.
Upon graduation, Eidemiller gained employment with ACI, a sub-contractor of Comcast Cable, in Pittsburgh, PA. There he worked as a cable-installation technician, until moving on to Creative Video in February 2007. Eidemiller is a producer/director, as well as an engineer, who is adept at wiring and troubleshooting video equipment. Matt succeeds his brother as the second Eidemiller to work for Creative Video, as John was with the company from 2000 through 2002. |
