Sean Hovan started his career in television in Northwest Ohio at the University of Toledo. His first job was working as a camera operator for local high school football and basketball games for the local WBTV 5 in 2001. While still attending college he was employed by WTVG-13 ABC as the AM microwave truck operator. In 2002 the Toledo Mudhens built the "best minor league ballpark" according to Newsweek magazine. Sean would work for the the Scoreboard/in game Entertainment department for the next 4 seasons as a camera op, Deko operator, click effects replay and fill in Director.

After receiving his BA in Communications in 2003, Sean decided to move to Raycom owned NBC 24 as a morning production assistant to open up weekends and nights for freelance opportunities. In 2004 the creation of Buckeye Cable Sports Network would give him the opportunity to be a sports director on an everyday basis. In the year and a half at the network Sean would direct over 250 sporting events ranging from college and high school football, hockey, basketball, volleyball, tennis, swimming, bowling, wrestling, and his personal favorite...handball. Other freelance jobs included Camera Operator and Tape room Operator for Speed Channel's IHRA circuit and USAR racing. womens and mens college basketball and football on Fox Sports Ohio. In September of 2005 Sean moved to Northern Virginia and is the current Producer and Director to our events in the field. He also helps maintain the website, and can be called with any questions concerning freelance opportunities, used equipment being sold on E-bay and questions concerning YOUR upcoming event!
